Problem #31 - The Bruins’ defense is very unpredictable in more ways than one. In the playoffs, Dennis Seidenberg, Andrew Ference, and Wade Redden all were injured. Zdeno Chara has been the one defenseman who wasn’t injured that much or didn’t play much in the whole season. The defensive pairings have always been changing; in Game 5, Chara ended the night with Johnny Boychuk and Seidenberg was with Ference. Rookies came up big in the 2nd series but have since seen their fame fall. Torey Krug and Dougie Hamilton have been the fault of some game-altering goals (I’m not saying they’re bad, though). Each defenseman has done a lot in the playoffs, and I hope that at least 6 of them will come up huge in the next game(s).
